Pat Torpey, batterista e membro fondatore dei MR. BIG, è morto mercoledì 7 febbraio all’età di 64 anni. Il musicista era affetto dal morbo di Parkinson.

La notizia della scomparsa è stata postata sulla pagina ufficiale della band. “With breaking hearts we tell you that our brother, friend, drummer and founding member, Pat, passed away Wednesday, February 7 from complications of Parkinson’s disease. Family, band and management request privacy at this very difficult time. Services are pending.“
Anche il bassista della band, Billy Sheehan, ha annunciato la morte del collega sul suo profilo social e altri musicisti stanno manifestando il dolore per questa perdita sui social network.
