Il 29 marzo la cantante Stevie Nicks verrà ufficialmente inserita nella prestigiosa Rock and Roll Hall of Fame per la seconda volta. La prima volta fu nel 1998 con i suoi compagni di band, i Fleetwood Mac, ma quest’anno ci entrerà per i suoi meriti come artista solista.
Per celebrare l’evento sono state annunciate delle raccolte che verranno pubblicate nei prossimi mesi tramite la Rhino Records.vLa cantante è stata dunque nominata come solista per la prima volta assieme ad altri illustri colleghi, anche loro pronti per il “battesimo del fuoco”, come Def Leppard, Todd Rundgren, Devo, John Prine e Roxy Music.
Tra i punti più salienti della carriera dell’artista statunitense ricordiamo brani storici come “Edge of Seventeen”, “Stand Back” e “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around” cantata con il compianto Tom Petty.
La raccolta “Stand Back” conterrà dunque materiale tratto dai suoi album solisti assieme ad esibizioni live, colonne sonore e collaborazioni con altri artisti del calibro di Don Henley, Dave Grohl, Lana Del Rey e Lady Antebellum.
